Welcome to On Track Tuition. We are Brian and Julie McGarvie, the husband and wife team who have been providing trusted Maths tuition services to families in Bearsden and Milngavie for over eight years in business. We are both fully qualified (and PVG registered) teachers with over 40 years experience between us and are both still teaching in school. We have been teaching in our current schools for over 18 and 23 years each and have, over the years, combined our passion for teaching with running our own successful business. On Track Tuition originally opened at Bearsden Cross in 2015 and has gone on from strength to strength since. We have built an excellent reputation in the area and beyond with the vast majority of our students coming to us through word of mouth referrals or because of our five star Google reviews.

 

We started operating fully online during the Covid pandemic in 2020 in a move to continue supporting our students through that difficult time. Our initial intention was to return to in person tuition but when we realised the opportunities available through online tuition, the overwhelmingly positive feedback we received from students/parents and the flexibility it offered we knew we could not go back to what we now call the old way of doing things. Our online tuition provides a supportive, enjoyable and dynamic learning experience. Interactive sessions focus on: resolving individual student difficulties, active problem solving and fostering a belief in students that they too can be successful in maths. The move to online tuition has also allowed us to offer extra one-to-one drop-in help sessions after school throughout the week to further support our students. This type of service was simply not possible before our transition online.
